A question about fishing scents?
So, I bought some YUM! crawfish scent. The problem is, when i spray it onto my soft plastics (mimic minnow) or hair jigs, the scent seems to just wash off. How often are you supposed to re-apply?
it will wash off quickly. but it has already done the job it was designed to do. it masked your odor to the fish.
but for a longer lasting scent, use a thick pasty one or an oily one. l like and use smelly jelly. both the gooey stuff and their “sticky liquid”.
l’m partial to the craw/anise scent.
