The traffic was bumper-to-bumper and, at times, hardly moving as we neared the Guadalupe River Bridge. The source of the slow-to-no movement involved the sheer volume of vehicles, a quickly changing traffic signal and hundreds of tiny bathing suits on people carrying inner tubes back and forth from the river.
