Fly Fishing Tampa
Looking to move to a new state?
Moving out this summer and I’m trying to figure out where I want to end up.
I was planning on Nashville, Tn. Then attending NADC while there but now Im up in the air because Im considering focusing more on by basic degrees right out of highschool. So obviously I can go pretty much anywhere because Im only planning on Community Colleges.
A big part of which state I want to end up in is fishing. I need to be able to fly fish, preferably with mountains and alot of the outdoors atleast within a short drive. But I also need a fairly large city to reside near.
Anybody in an area they love now and can say they have some excellent Fly Fishing?
Im currently in Florida but not bothered by the cold as long as I’m not snowed inside my house for 3 months a year.
I also need a fairly cheap cost of living. Nicer studio apartments in Nashville were going for around 550 last summer and Tampa, Fl is atleast 650

I would try east Texas. The weather is good and the people are friendly. There is a lot of outdoor recreation such as hunting and fishing. People are very welcoming to new folks. When we visited on a vacation they wanted to talk to us as if they had known us for years. They know how to cook great food too especially barbeque and steaks.
