Tying Fishing Knots Loops

what knot to use for the Mustad hook salmon?
I recently bought Mustad salmon hooks and tried to link in 40-pound test monofilament fishing and found that the gap between the end of the loop of the eye and the handle was too large to use the loft or knots Duncan loop, so I tried nail knot and ran until the line started to fall into the trap. what I'm looking for is 1) a knot is tight enough to slide very little or not able to slip through the gap and a link to a place I can see your link or 2) otherwise I should Set the hook on my line to ensure that be on the hook, while i fight a fish.
A "loop trap" is a knot excellent general case for the retention clips. There is no real link unless you want to. Can be used for several baits "in live 'the salmon. Another feature that makes "general case", ie the same knot can be used if you want to connect another line. You can not do that with all the knots. Knot is a very simple but very strong.
