Lohr’s ‘man-cave’ a wondrous place of fly creation
Dick Lohr’s wife Jean calls it a “man-cave.” She is talking about the multi-room basement where, since the early 1970s, her husband has run R- Lures Custom Flies & Bass Bugs that offers a line of unique saltwater flies to a select clientele, mostly serious bass fly fishers who want to go beyond — well beyond — the usual mass-produced flies from China and Sri Lanka available at tackle shops.
