Old Shakespeare Fishing Reels
Was given a reely old rod and reel. It has “1924 Wondereel Deluxe by Shakespeare”. Is it worth anything?
I was given a really old looking rod and reel that even has what appears to be very old fishing line and lure on it. It has “1924 Wondereel Deluxe by Shakespeare.” And then down by the bottom “Nickel Silver” and below that “Model FK.” It can’t be 83 years old. What is it worth, it’s in really good shape.
I collect old fishing equipment as something to pass the time and i can tell you that the reel is not from 1924 some are but many were re named taht in the 60s although there are some people out there who may wish to buy it from you, you could get up to $90 for it but that’s only if someone really wants it. I would advise you to put it in an antique fishing equipment auction. Then if there is no success try e bay.
