How hard is it to obtain a Carry and Conceal permit in Reno Nevada ???
Recreational opportunities in RENO, NV ?
I have just been offered a great job in Reno, Nevada. I currently live in Portland, Oregon. I LOVE to fish. Whats the fishing like say within an hour of downtown Reno. How about places to put my boat in and go boating ? Lakes or Rivers. How far outside of downtown would I have to travel to go target shooting ( NOT hunting, just plinking with a 22 pistol or rifle ?

First, you would probably have to be a legal resident of Nevada & there may be a required lenght of residency, as well.
Your easiest source would be to go to www.packing.org website, which gives a state-by-state summary of CWP (concealed weapon permit) laws, regulations, requirements, procedures, and reciprocity between states, as well as Federal laws, including transport & travel by all means, public and private.
As to recreation and target shooting opportunities, I would check local sources including law enforcement authorities upon arrival.
