catfish and Carp Fishing?
what should i look for when fishing for catfish in the lakes in minnesota…any sighns that there are catfish….also in rivers for sturgen and carp at taylor falls? ill be simply doing some catch and realease… and any good homemade baits i can make or buy… what sizes can i be expecting?
Well i can say a good bait for cat fish is whole dead pan fish with a 4/0 circle hook, and 40 lb test line. with a nice size weight depending on the current. will be good for your bigger cats, any were from a 25-65 lb cat.
Now, You will wanna be in the deeper parts of the place, Warm Waters.
The dead Panfish will work like a charm if they got a little size to them.
Cat fish lay around turtles also, There’s a good sign. Good Luck!
