Fly Fishing Trout Techniques
what are some good techniques to catch trout?
I’m fishing the Bow River in Alberta from shore. The area that I will be fishing has primarily rainbow trout and the average size is 1-3 lbs. There is a bait ban in the river so no bait of any kind can be used. I will be spin casting and don’t have a Fly Fishing rod.
Does anyone have any tips on lures or techniques to use to catch rainbows from shore?

Kastmasters always work like dynamite for me! Just get your self a selection of colors in the 1/4 to 1/8 oz,range. It’s really fun when they hit!
