Whats a good fishing spot on the sacramento river?
whats a good Fly Fishing spot along the sacramento river thats relatively close to the bay area
Fly fishing the Sacramento is something that’s more reserved for the upper stretches: ie. Redbluff etc.
The only places I know of that people fly fish the Sacramento on the LOWER stretches, like closer to the Bay area, would be in some of the inlets, sloughs, and adjacent rivers. The best bet would be hitting those because the deep, fast water in the main channel of the river is a difficult place to present any kind of fly presentation.
