Fly Fishing Bugs
tiny white bugs on my 75g?
i have these smaller then rice grain bugs sitting on my glass sheets on the top of my tank. they dont fly around or jump off of the hood when i lift it. i recently bought new plants maybe 1/4 of the whole tanks. and 2 new fish… would these be larve or eggs of one that is already in my tank? i have 2 baby oscars 2 pluckos and 11 cichlids so if they were in my tank idk how theyd still be alive
i have read posts on this and they dont seem to be dangerous but if they hatch…. but what should i do to get rid of them? –i have not seen any in the water only on the top glass sheets–
these bugs are no bigger then rice grains white and seem to have small wings…. do not move when im by the tank or pick up the glass sheets. i have flake food sitting right on top the tank and 2 bags of pellets and feed them bloodworms and brine shrimp 1-2 time a week

I wouldn’t assume their harmless, call the place you got the plants from a just ask if this has ever happened before and what they are, don’t accuse them or anything just be nice about it because it isn’t their problem. Also you majorly need to upgrade your tank, plecos (not plucko) are agressive and very messy, the 2 ocars will need over 100 gallons to themselves, and idk where the other 11 fish are going.
