BELLA MAYA RESORT IN BELIZE-Property Laws of Belize – Buyer-Friendly and Easy!
By Milton Brown
Belize is no longer hidden; it’s now out in the open, so to speak. When you look at other places it becomes apparent that Belize was hand-crafted and over seen by Mother Nature herself. I find that when I let my thoughts run through your mind Belize will capture your imagination just like when families, adventure seekers (backpackers) and newlyweds decide where they will go on vacation. What most people find attractive about Belize is the ease of accessibility by air, land and sea. As soon as you arrive in Belize you’ll find out that everything is cheap and close by. When you arrive in Belize it is instantly apparent how cheap the country is as well as how compact it is; making it a straightforward matter to organise weekend trips.
There are a wide range of transportation options arriving in Belize from North America including buses, planes and ships; all of which run on a timetable and so come in at regular intervals. If you’re in North America and you want to get to Belize by boat, that’s very easy too: sail down the Caribbean Sea and experience the beauty before you reach the shore. If you are a road warrior, then you can plan on taking a luxury bus or even drive to Belize from anywhere in North and Central America. There are three airlines that handle flights (American Airlines, Continental Airlines, US Airways) from Houston, Miami, Dallas and Charlotte.
No trip to Belize would be complete without a plan (an itinerary) as most tourist attractions are close by. When you really want to cut loose here are three things to indulge yourself. If you, yourself, like a drink and a good spot at a corner table in a Mexican restaurant, head to Placencia village, San Pedro or San Ignacio. If you want to be pampered and want to be in a spa that leaves you feeling like a $1,000,000 dollars (not that a million dollars is worth much, sounds good though) then pop down to Cayo and lose yourself in a luxury jungle lodge. The third is for those who want an alcoholic beverage in their hand, and a table in the corner of a Mexican restaurant head over to San Pedro, Placencia Village and Ambergris Caye.
Getting around Belize is easy and straightforward. You can take a bus, take taxis, rent a car or take a ferry. The buses work well, the car rental companies work well and the water ferries work well. If you are taking a longer vacation you can take a bus or plane. Some visitors have rented bikes at reasonable cost and enjoyed Belize on two wheels. The cost of hiring a bicycle is reasonable. Sometimes time is short so you may choose to fly with the local airline: some people however prefer to take the bus because it allows you to see some of the cultural heritage. However, some tourists prefer to take the buses because it allows them to see the country from the ground up instead of from the sky down..
The tourists start to arrive between December and June. It rains the most between June and November. If you want to be around when the weather is nicer the best time of the year is between December and May. Belize is one of those places that when you arrive you can instantly feel the warmth of the people; you feel protected and cared for. I especially love the character of the Belizean people because they are convivial and pleasant. As a result of this visitors to Belize buy real estate: it’s no surprise why. If you look at a place like Long Caye you will see that it has two brilliant attributes; the white sandy beaches and the picturesque fishing spots. Because of these two attributes the rise in foreign owned real estate has been unstoppable. Regardless of their visit to Belize returnees have a longing to return and always wish they could have stayed longer. Come on down to the BELLA MAYA RESORT IN BELIZE.
