Sacramento catching huge catfish over 15lbs? HELP please?
Ok i know most of the tricks for catching cats, baits and water charictoristics. Now ive caght probly 200 cats to 8-9lbs but never real large ones. see the pics of them all over so I know they are there, any advice on techniqes? Is catching big cats different style of fishing than smaller cats. How big do channel cats get in the river? locations? Thanks so much for your help in advance?

Try this…cut shad, tipped with a worm (pile or nightcrawler) on a 3/0 or 4/0 hook. Also, there are definitely big cats in there. A buddy landed a 22lber two weeks ago at Sutter Bypass!
It’s hit and miss for those guys. I personally haven’t landed any above 10lbs either!! That isn’t going to stop me from trying.
