The value of Penn’s workhorse depends entirely on the age and condition if it. If you can find an older one in pristine condition, you can expect to sell (or buy it, depending on the situation) for $40 to $50 or more. If you find one that’s green and fuzzy and shows remnants of heavy saltwater use, but still reels smoothly, anywhere from $10 to $30. If it’s frozen up, $5 to $10… but in that price range and condition, one is mostly salvaged for reusable parts.
As a side note, the newer ones that are manufactured in China are CRAP.
