Fishing Line 80lb Test

Shark fishing in South Florida?
So I’d like to do it right, and I’ve got some idea how, but I need some info on the rigging, times, and locations. I live near Fort Launderdale and am shore shark fishing. I take a small boat out and place my bait, then fish from the shore. I’d say I dropped it about 100 yards away.
1. Good location less than 45 minutes away?
2. In the morning or at night?
3. Good bait, also, how do I rig my line? Weight or no weight. I’m currently using 80lb test line.
4. High tide right?
I know the water should be calm.
Thanks for any help, experienced answers please.
Just take a look. If you have any questions email me.
#1 Tide doesn’t mean diddly for Sharks.
#2 The further you drop your bait from sandbars the better. I recommend 250 yards.
#3 Early and late summer are the best times during migration periods.
#4 My numero uno bait is bloody Bonito or anything fresh like Whiting, Spanish Macks, Mullet and lady fish.
#5 Be prepared to be patient. If your not patient you won’t ever catch a 100lb and over Shark.
#6 Anyplace near moving bait or structure is best. (this is a secret I won’t tell)
Oh! And most my biggest predators have been caught in rough surf so that doesn’t matter either.
