Bream Fishing Bluegill
are bluegill and bream the same things?
we always catch these bluegills that i have grown up calling bream, but now i see pictures of another fish called a bream that doesn’t look anything like what i call a bream.
Yes.
They are all in the Sunfish family, (which amazingly also includes Large mouth & Smallmouth, Etc Bass!).
Bream, Bluegill, Sunnys, all the same.
Warmouth & Crappie are different, (but also in the Sunfish lineage).
