Bass Fishing Knots Loop
Strength of the Rapala Knot?
I was night fishing using a Rapala jointed and got a strike, average bass it seemed but within a couple of seconds the line snapped which I believed snapped in the knotted area. I used the “Rapala Knot”, it was at night and I could have missed a loop or mis-looped, its a semi-complicated knot. Does anyone no how strong this knot is? Whats the rating? over 90%? I really like this knot when using lures that move side to side and this knot make the lure really come to life. I don’t want a low confidence knot.
It is a strong knot but like all knots if you mess it up, snap!
