Bass Fishing Clear Lake
what kind of lure should i use?
i live in michigan, and i fish on stony creek lake, its a pretty deep lake and the water is kind of clear, there is bass, carp, pike, blue gill, and many other kinds of fish, what kind of lures should i use to catch these fish, mostly bass? thanks
there are numorous baits u can use for bass.
plastic worms
jigs
crankbaits
the list goes on and on
what i would suggest is try different things.u will eventually find something that works and establish a pattern from that.
right now being sunny and hot summer,i like to flip tubes and jigs to some type of cover.the fish will be holding in the shade during the day.now in the evenings u might try some crank baits and other faster retrieve baits such as rattletraps or even jerk baits,hard or soft.
just experiment with differnt lures and u will find something that works for u and will build ur confidence in urself anf ur bait.
